The relief operations after the 6th
April earthquake are ongoing.
After the first emergency phase the sub
division into local areas has been revised. The whole area has now been divided
into seven sub areas coordinated by different local coordination centres (COM).
The overall coordination is guaranteed by a Local Emergency Management Authority
(DICMAC) based in
The displaced population is assisted in hotels,
private houses and organized camps.
